Well I have forgotten about this blog a little bit so I thought I would do a double post with one on this blog and another on my other blog which is better. If you follow me on twitter (@the_chicago_fan) you can see the tweets i write and I will mention everytime I'm blogging. Anyway, onto the Bears.
After the unimpressive win today against the Lions the Bears are 9-3. The record really doesn't show what we have done. If you looked at our schedule and picked out our losses you would probably pick the wrong teams. We have lost to some bad teams and have beaten some really good teams. We play to our competition. That is a good thing for the playoffs, but it isn't helping our record. We could have a really good record if we beat the Seahawks and if we beat the Redskins which were both easier teams and close games we should have won. That would have left us with 1 loss. That is a fantastic record. This team is so underestimated.
Jay Cutler can be a very good quarterback if he plays smart and he doesn't get his confidence down or get over confident. He needs to have that balance for most of the game in order to play well. Maybe that is why he plays better against the good teams because he never gets over confident but he also doesn't lose confidence because he is doing well.
The big thing this year has the been the defense and Matt Forte being back to his rookie year numbers almost and Chester Taylor adding a nice accent to our running game. This year is going to be a good year and I think we can do good things. We have to play a lot of good teams coming up, but we can beat them if we play well and be smart. BEAR DOWN.
